Protect the Superstitions

At the heart of Arizona’s desert wilderness, the Superstition Mountains stand as a living tapestry of history, geology, ecology, and cultural legend. For centuries, this rugged landscape has inspired Indigenous stories, pioneer adventures, and scientific discoveries. Today, it faces growing threats from development pressures to environmental degradation.

Our mission is to protect, preserve, and honor the Superstition Mountains by advocating for their designation as a National Monument under the Antiquities Act. This designation would provide vital protections for the region’s irreplaceable natural resources, archaeological sites, unique geologic formations, and spiritual significance.

The Superstitions are more than a backdrop to legends they are a vital part of Arizona’s identity. By elevating their status to that of a National Monument, we ensure that future generations can explore their beauty, uncover their stories, and learn from their ancient stone.
